2.1. Portable Zebra Printer disconnects immediately after connecting via Bluetooth to a scanner, or fails to connect entirely.
Scenario 1: Printer connects then immediately disconnects
-
Force a Temporary Connection: Press and hold the right-front connection button on the printer for 5 to 7 seconds.
-
Verify: Look at the top-left of the display. A blinking Bluetooth icon confirms an open, active connection.
-
If connection drops again: On the scanner, go to Bluetooth settings, forget/unpair the printer, and then pair it again.
Scenario 2: Printer will not connect at all
-
Connect the printer to a PC using a USB cable.
-
Launch Zebra Setup Utilities on the PC.
-
Select Configure Printer Connectivity > select Bluetooth, and follow the on-screen prompts to save the configuration.
-
Verify: Disconnect from the PC and attempt to re-pair with the scanner.
